FAQ:
What is a toy camera? Toy cameras are simple, inexpensive film box cameras made almost entirely out of plastic, often including the lens. The term is misleading, since they are not merely 'toys' but are in fact capable of taking photographs. Why use a toy camera for this theme? In the hands of an artist, great photographs can be made with minimal equipment. We are looking for exceptional photographs produced with cameras that don’t have all the bells and whistles. Artists are encouraged to explore this medium and let your creative abilities shine!

FAQ:
What do I do after I have paid my submission fee?
Please send a short bio about yourself to hang with your finished product and a
jpeg of your image for our website and promotional use to Gina
Are there any prizes, or pretty ribbons?
We are still working out all the fine print for the contests, but yes there will
be pretty ribbons and there will be some sort of prize for the big winner. As we
get closer to the first exhibition date, we will announce prizes.
What are the size limitations?
We would also like for all submissions to roughly 20 x 20 inches when framed and
ready for hanging.
What is the commission split?
If your artwork sells, there is a standard 50/50 split. We are asking that the price of your artwork not
exceed the $300 mark.
Are you judging by digital entries?
No, we are not judging by digital entries but by the finished ready to hang
product.
What do I do if the submission deadline falls on a Holiday or a day that
the gallery is closed?
Please send an email letting us know that you are bringing artwork for a contest
and we will allow a late submission. Late submission are allowed only when prior notice has been given.
